Mocha frappe is not new to the coffee shop scene, however, more and more people are raving about how good this beverage tastes. It is easy to get hooked drinking mocha frappe which is why it is necessary to learn how to make mocha frappe from scratch.

Mocha frappe or frappuccino is an iced-blended, coffee-based beverage that combines the organic taste of coffee with the sweetness of the chocolate. Milk is also added in to make the mixture creamy and satisfying to your taste buds. But as delicious as these combinations sound, it can get a little too expensive if you would want to get your daily dose of mocha frappe from Starbucks or McDonalds. But if you know how to make mocha frappe on your own, you can save a lot of money but still be able to satisfy your cravings.

In learning how to make mocha frappe from scratch, you need to prepare the following ingredients:


Crushed ice, espresso shots, milk of your choice, sugar, chocolate syrup and whipped cream.

To prepare this, just mix together 2 shots of espresso at 1 ounce each with ¾ cup of milk, 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup. Mix them all well until properly combined. Then pour in the ice and blend until frothy. Pour into a tall glass, add in whipped cream and chocolate syrup at the top.

Some variations of this mocha frappe recipe make use of low-fat milk instead of your usual milk. Some also put in chocolate chips to add that special variety as you drink this cold beverage. You can also use artificial sweeteners if you wish to reduce your sugar intake or add more chocolate syrup if so desired.
